During my Graffiti Down Under Tour’s first stop in Auckland, New Zealand I had an amazing opportunity to paint a climbing wall on the playground for the kids at Sylvia Park School! These kids have an awesome energy they shared with me while I wrote them the message “Love Life”. Thank you Sylvia Park School and Julian & Yolanda Bartram for hooking it up!

Ill style heroes Peoples Fair Booth

Once again Ill Style Heroes and YourNameInGraffiti wowed crowds at the 2012 Denver People’s Fair sharing our love for graffiti and local art with everyone in the city! We had many supporters of our art return and tell us how much they LOVED their Ill Style Heroes shirts and through that inspiration we will continue to make jaw dropping graffiti art designs for the masses!!

The best part is we are proud to announce that our youth mural team from Your Name in Graffiti’s Art Education Program at St. Charles Recreation Center, led by ISH/YNIG artists Lemon and Kans, won 1st place with their mural entry in the 2012 People’s Fair Youth Mural Competition!!! These guys deserve mad props for working together as a team to create some awesome art taking the win in the biggest youth mural competition in the city!! These young up and coming artists are doing their part to  beautify the city with their art so show them some love and keep a look out for more of their murals as they paint them throughout the city!

  “As the imagery may not seem so, this design serves as a friendly reminder to not give up and keep flapping your wings. The quote itself says it all “FLY OR DIE” but if that’s not enough there is a bold skull dead center framed by wings symbolizing the whole idea behind the concept. I have always been one to say follow your dreams no matter what anyone tells you, no matter how many nay-Sayers there are, completely ignore them and focus. I am also a firm believer in not relying on anyone but yourself to survive and if you completely believe in yourself you should have no problem doing so. There should be no reason that anyone can’t do what they want to do in life. It all comes down to how hungry for success you are.  I never wanted to slave over an hourly wage so I jumped in the art world head first without taking a peek before I left my platform. If you are willing to do that then you are setting yourself up for success. Do what you do to the fullest and you should have no problem achieving your goals just remember in the skies of success you are more vulnerable than ever, you have a lot more to lose so keep in mind FLY OR DIE!!! ”
